Random embarrasing moment #312

Mr. Hummingbird was to take a "guys trip" to Las Vegas. I was dropping him off at the airport. These were the days were you could actually walk someone right to their gate. You just had to pass a "security desk". Someone in a uniform, usually pretty close to being asleep, would look you over and wave you through.
As I got closer to the desk, the older lady shouts out to me, "you'll have to take off your fanny pack! You have to take off your fanny pack so we can look through it!!"







I wasn't wearing a fanny pack.


She mistook my massive stomach for a fanny pack. (yup, this was a few years ago. Don't laugh at the fanny pack reference, you probably had a fanny pack too.) I glared at her as I walked by, pretending that she was not talking to me. I was aware. Mr. Hummingbird was aware.
